Communications Infrastructure and Services Group
techUK brings together our telecoms members with government, regulators and the wider tech ecosystem to explore the challenges and opportunities facing connectivity today. Our work centres around the rollout of infrastructure, the security and resilience of networks, and the potential of future telecoms, including the adoption of advanced communications services by key economic sectors.
Telecoms Infrastructure Working Group
The home of telecoms infrastructure deployment at techUK, covering fixed and mobile infrastructure. The Group focuses on the deployment of fibre and radio, including 5G, networks through engagement and collaboration with local authorities.
Advanced Communications Working Group
Formerly called the 5G Ecosystem, this group explores how advanced communication services benefit sectors like manufacturing, transport, health, media, and agriculture. We focus on user needs, avoiding tech bias in telecom solutions.
