Innovators and digital tech businesses are urged to throw their hat into the ring for future innovation work in Dorset.

Dorset Council UK has launched a new Digital Innovation Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to identify organisations looking to work with, or partner on, digital innovation initiatives.

By signing up to the DPS, organisations will also be notified of new opportunities to work with the council and its digital innovation partners.

Projects such as the multi award-winning 5G RuralDorset project and Dorset Open Networks Ecosystem Project have earned Dorset Council a reputation for leading on world-class research and development work that supports digital innovation.

Through this work, the council has developed an innovation ecosystem of local, national and international partners across public sector, academia, research and industry.

The DPS will help the council to scale and diversify this ecosystem to achieve its strategic aims around economic growth and social opportunity. It will also help the council support significant innovation capability in the areas Dorset has the strength - defence, security and agri-tech.

The online expression of interest form is now live. For more information and to register click here: Digital Innovation Dynamic Purchasing System - Dorset Council
