The Nuffield Trust and a group of academic partners are studying how changing relations between the EU and the UK affect health, care and life sciences. As the AI Act is implemented and the new British government reconsiders its aversion to rules across the sector, the Trust aims to gather views on what these different regimes will mean for safety, competitiveness, and access to crucial innovations in health.

The Nuffield Trust wants to hear from firms developing and introducing products in every area of health, and at every stage in the path to provision, in this confidential roundtable to inform our research. The goal is both to reach a clear understanding of the situation which is now being faced, in the UK, Europe and for firms working across both - and also to suggest a positive way forward to UK policymakers. Their report and briefing later this year will present recommendations publicly to government, but your anonymity will be strictly protected. This will be a small, private event.

For those attending in person, a complementary lunch will be provided 12:30-13:00. The roundtable session will begin at 13:00.

Please register your interest by filling in the form. The Trust's team will be in touch with you as soon as possible.
