Call for contributions: techUK's first Gaming & Esports report
Part of techUK's flagship Unleashing Innovation campaign, this will explore how the UK can lead on the development, application and commercialisation of the key technologies set to underpin the Gaming and Esports industry of the future.
Such technologies include Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented / Virtual / Extended Reality (AR / VR / XR), cloud compute, semiconductors, and Web3 technologies (such as distributed ledger technologies and digital assets / wallets).
Alongside a set of practical recommendations for UK Government and businesses, the report will also identify 10 headline trends set to redefine the fields of Gaming and Esports.
It will be launched at an in-person event on 20 November, published on techUK's Innovation Hub, and promoted via techUK's various social channels and newsletters throughout the year and beyond.
All the above has been shaped by techUK's first Gaming and Esports campaign.
Running from January to June, this has featured roundtables, workshops, panel discussions, networking sessions, and a campaign week. techUK members have played a key role in shaping, contributing to and collaborating on this campaign.
