This event will now take place online on 3 November.
On Thursday 3 November, techUK will host our fourth annual Cyber Innovation Den online. This year we’ll explore efforts being made to realised the ambition set out in the National Cyber Strategy, with speakers taking a look at the progress we’ve seen to date, including the foundation of the UK Cyber Security Council, the reinvigoration of the Cyber Growth Partnership and the continued growth in the value of the sector to the UK economy. We’ll also shine a light on the areas where we still need to do more, such as regional development, skills and diversity, and delve into what industry can do to support the acceleration towards a whole-of-society approach to cyber.
The event will once again feature our Cyber Innovation Pitching Competition, which will highlight the pioneering work that is present within the cyber security sector. Hear from cyber start-ups about the latest R&D emerging from the cyber security sector, as the brightest companies in the country pitch their product or service to a panel of expert judges, with the winner named techUK's Cyber Innovator 2022. Through an open call for applications, 10 finalists will be identified – showcasing the latest leading-edge capabilities, from a range of innovative SMEs across the UK cyber ecosystem.
