The government has set out a roadmap for digital and data to transform for the future. A key mission of this roadmap is on how the use of data can be improved to empower decision making.
We at Made Tech know that public sector organisations are unclear on where and how to start their transformation journey. So we will focus this session on the data challenges currently faced by central and local governments due to a lack of strategy and guidance on how to better harvest and use their data. By addressing the data challenges and breaking down the stages where digital transformation could happen, we can get some ideas on potential ways of solving them to evolve and thrive.
Key takeaways
• Digital and data challenges faced by local and central government departments
• How understanding these challenges can help transformation
• What steps to take

The challenges organisations face today are increasingly complex and ambitious. Multi-year programmes of work that deliver transformational visions require a clear plan and often changes to work practices. The journey from vision, to mission, to defined outcomes requires collaboration and common goals to ensure true transformation and realise the benefits of change and technological innovation. To truly accelerate the delivery of programmes and deliver outcomes that matter, how do teams need to adapt and think differently?
